Description

This package is specially designed for electrical junction boxes located in basements, pump rooms, bathroom ceiling voids, or outdoor equipment foundations where high ambient humidity prevails. The service includes opening the box covers, thoroughly cleaning and drying internal condensed water droplets, misty moisture, and conductive dirt films adhering to conductor insulation surfaces, using industrial desiccants and low-pressure warm air assistance. We measure insulation resistance of each conductor end immediately before and after drying to confirm the effectiveness of the treatment.

After drying, we assess the sealing condition of cable entry glands, cover gaskets, and any mechanical cracks in the box body. For failed seals, we apply waterproof sealing compound or self-adhesive tape compatible with the box material, and place a silica gel desiccant indicator card inside the cover for future visual inspection of moisture ingress. All operations aim to improve the internal microclimate without altering existing circuit connections.

This maintenance schedule and intervention depth are flexibly planned based on on-site measured humidity values and the current protection rating of each box. A deposit is required before starting, covering the basic cost of bringing drying equipment, sealing materials, and protective tools to site, with the amount estimated according to the number of boxes to be treated and their humidity levels. After completion and passing insulation re-test, the final balance is paid based on the actual number of boxes processed and the quantity of sealing materials consumed.
