Description
This package targets the serious safety hazard where the earth terminal of three-pin sockets has a DC resistance to the distribution board earth bar exceeding permissible limits, or is completely open. We use a micro-ohmmeter to measure the end-to-end DC resistance from each socket’s earth terminal to the earth bar, precisely locating the open or high-resistance section. Measurements are carefully taken to exclude false readings from surface oxidation or temporary poor contact, ensuring every data point reflects the true continuity of the protective conductor inside walls or conduits.
After pinpointing the break point, we choose the most economical physical intervention based on wall structure and conduit routing—possibly installing a short auxiliary equipotential bonding conductor through adjacent socket or junction boxes, or running a new independent green/yellow earth conductor through reserved ceiling or floor voids to reconnect the broken earth network. After reconstruction, we re-measure earth resistance for each involved socket and use a phase checker to confirm correct polarity (left neutral, right live) at every outlet.
This reconstruction plan’s routing and material specifications are fully customized based on building structure, conduit paths, and break point locations. A deposit is required before work, covering the procurement of special earth conductors, connection accessories, and on-site survey labor, with the amount estimated based on the number of sockets to be reconstructed and estimated routing difficulty. After full reconstruction and re-testing meet standards, the final balance is calculated according to the actual length of conductors installed and the number of connection accessories consumed.
