This package is suitable for circuits containing non-linear loads such as variable frequency drives, switch-mode power supplies, or thyristor controllers, aiming to distinguish and quantify the respective proportions of resistive leakage current and capacitive coupling leakage current. We use a leakage current clamp meter with harmonic analysis capability, measuring under normal powered operation both the fundamental-frequency component and high-frequency harmonic components, then applying vector analysis to determine the phase relationship and amplitude ratio between the two components. This distinction is crucial for determining whether nuisance tripping of RCDs is due to internal insulation failure or inherent distributed capacitance.

Based on the measurement results, if capacitive leakage dominates and approaches the trip threshold, we propose adding dedicated filtering reactors at the equipment input or adjusting carrier frequency settings; if resistive leakage exceeds limits, we further trace along the circuit to locate specific insulation degradation points. All results are presented as waveform charts and data tables in the delivery report, with recommended intervention threshold lines clearly marked.

The measurement parameter settings and analysis methods are customized according to the power ratings and switching frequency ranges of your on-site equipment. A deposit is required at booking, covering the delivery and setup of high-precision leakage analysis instruments and initial baseline data collection, with the amount estimated based on the number of circuits to be tested and the complexity of load types. After the detection report is delivered, the final balance is calculated according to the actual number of measurement groups, waveform channels recorded, and the report compilation workload.
